    Hume texts online

Looking for Hume texts online? Peter Millican of Oxford University and Amyas Merivale of the University of Leeds are developing a very handy site: davidhume.org. Here is their explanation of the project:

This web site, davidhume.org, aims to provide a free and open access collection of almost everything written by the great Enlightenment thinker, David Hume, alongside bibliographies and links to Hume scholarship on the web. It is being developed by Peter Millican of Hertford College, Oxford University and Amyas Merivale at the University of Leeds.

This site is developed by Hume scholars, for Hume scholars. We find it enormously useful, and hope you will too.

One great feature of the site that is not mentioned above is the search tool. It allows you to locate all of the instances of a particular word or phrase across the texts on the site. You will find the search tool in the upper right hand corner of every page on the site.
